elcamino/wheelhorse 9,297 #1 Posted February 24, 2019 Any body know the maximum tire height for rear tires on a 953 ? Don't want to rub the fenders.
953 nut 55,130 #2 Posted February 24, 2019 (edited) I know that @PeacemakerJack's dad put a set of 7.60-15 tires on his and they were a good fit. Have you joined the 953 club? Edited February 24, 2019 by 953 nut 1

Have you joined the 953 club? Yep, we NEED a 953/1054 club. I have two 953s, which I'm hoping some day to have the time to work on and get them up to "snuff". Shynon 7,459 #6 Posted February 25, 2019 I have Goodyear 6.70-15 ags on my 1054. They were a little spendy but i like the look. 2
953 nut 55,130 #7 Posted February 26, 2019 Jim, if you aren't planning on using Ag. tires you could use Light Truck mud and snow tires. One of my 953s has a pair of LT 235/75-15 tires. They fill the wheel well but don't scrub it. 4
