Mind did not have any such 'scratch' in the block.  If you are concerned about it, I'd mix a tiny bit of JB WELD and fill the scratch...CAREFULLY sand it smooth and move on.  CAUTION..don't let the needle bearings drop out...mine did.  Find a ratchet socket or two to hold them in place while working.  ps...the is NOT a gasket or O-ring for this, although it looks like one is missing.

Did you also make a LOCATOR mark before taking off the gear cap???

You will have to buy some COPPER SEALS at NAPA or maybe Fastenal....that's what I did.  buy 6 or more, just a little bit over OD then turn them down to correct OD.  I put 6 of them on a 1/4" bolt ...tighten them with a nut, then put bolt in pistol grip drill to turn rapidly on a file that is clamped in my bench vise.  aka...poor man's lathe.

I MAY have a set of O-rings in shop...willl be back in am to advise...

Thanks, I have an assortment of copper  washers, with too big of o.d. didn't  think of the drill to turn them down.  As for the orings, went to a hydraulics shop, said I could  use round orings for the pump, but if I can get the right ones I would rather.

Where do you get the springs and orings for the forward and reverse valves?  I have a GT14 that drives but its really weak.  Was thinking about trying that 1st.

Didn't  replace the  springs ,  thay are nla,  you might  try  (LJ  Fluid Power, of Michigan)  but  you might look for a donor pump

As far as the orings, pfrederi helped with some, went to a local hydraulics shop for others and still looking for orings for behind pump,

If you go to a good parts store or hydraulics shop they can find using  Dash # , here is what I used for the gt14

Dash#  113,                2ea

              116,                1ea

              026,                2ea

              018,                2ea

              017,                2ea

              118,                2ea

              015,                2ea

              905,                7ea

              113                  backer ring.   1ea

Will post other orings when I get them,

Back of oil pump orings

              011 sq cut    4ea

              021 sq cut    2ea

Sundstrand manual has break down of pump, you can download  from this site.

Hay got some stuff done on the bathroom, and t

ranny.

Put in bearings on trunnion shaft and input shaft, installed seals skf 6757, don't seem to sit flush, if you put on oring and triangle spacer its flush, small side same, but seal has two lips, the outer one just sticks out enough,  (pics) any thoughts

Hydro gears didn't use seals they used O rings.

The piston to piston used a seal WH#103461  CR 6763 which is thinner than what you have

Aldons  gt14 restomod showed this seal skf 6757

So thinking I need 6763.  Or ya think with oring it'll  seal tight,  with cam block and ser# plates
