Al C. 1,428 #1 Posted February 6, 2019 Winter chores don’t get better than this. In a couple years, we’re going to get a fixer-upper and rebuild it together. He’d spend all day around the tractor if he could. 21 11 2

formariz 11,988 #9 Posted February 6, 2019 A lot of posts with great photos of kids and tractors. Undoubtedly they will be the next caretakers of these machines. We should create a section just dedicated to kids and their tractors where they could also participate. In the very least lets create a calendar just with the kids. 1

A calenders with the kid's!
Stormin 9,981 #12 Posted February 6, 2019 It's good to spend time with the grandchildren. My eldest's daughters boy's, Now 27, 19 and 18 used to spend a lot of time here. Eldest is now in the navy and married. Now see very little of the other two. So make the most of the time with your grandchildren. They grow up fast. 2

Dan693 510 #14 Posted February 6, 2019 Little stinker is just a few years away from his own Lawn Ranger. Mine somehow ended up looking like Paul Bunyan and care more about playing college football so oh well, still not gaming in the basement. Kids have a way of coming back around to the old mans way of thinking. Not sure thats always a good thing....but mostly so I hope. 1
chev0545 234 #15 Posted February 7, 2019 what paint did you use?did you clear it?looks really good. thanks
Al C. 1,428 #16 Posted February 7, 2019 Paint is original (as hard as that is to believe). I purchased the SK-486 from its original owner three years ago. He took meticulous care of it from when he purchased it in 1982. He was a RedSquare member who passed away three months after I purchased it. I don’t baby the tractor, but let’s say, it is not wanting for anything - I owe it to him. 2 2
