Firebug 267 #1 Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) Just curious, I have a ‘93 314-8 that had what I believe is a 42 inch rear discharge mower on it. I have a 48 inch side discharge deck that I think was on a d series at one point. Will the 48 inch fit on the 314? daveoman1966 3,745 #2 Posted February 1, 2019 (edited) It should fit, but you'll have to change-over some of the lift mounts from the 42" deck to the 48"... The 314-8 wants 48" deck model 78360...this is the lift hdwe for that 48" deck and is PROBABLY the same hdwe as on the 42" deck you have. If you don't have the required lift mounts, I do.....and can provide any that you may need. Found some pictures of my son's 312-8 (vanguard 16 repowered) with a D160 deck. Ran good only change was shorter rubber stops.
