TC10284 111 #1 Posted January 28, 2019 I have a 42" attach-a-matic deck that I'm repairing. One of the spindle pulleys has a hole rusted in the grove and needs to be replaced. I don't have the exact model number of the deck, right now, but I can get it. But for the moment, when I look it up on Parts Tree, the pulley that's listed (Number 5) doesn't seem to match up in size with the other blade pulley's. https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro/mower-deck-assemblies/15-42sc01-toro-42-side-discharge-mower-deck-1989/rear-side-discharge-mowers-42-48-in-107-122-cm/ Does anyone know what the correct pulley's are, and where is the key listed? Ed Kennell 38,023 #2 Posted January 28, 2019 The two single sheave outside pulleys #5 are the same size as the bottom sheave on the double center pulley. So the three pulleys driving the blades are the same size. There are no keys in the pulleys. The pulleys are locked to the spindle with the lock washer and nut. daveoman1966 3,745 #5 Posted January 28, 2019 Lt or Rt side pulley for a 42" deck WITH woodruff key is # 106072. It has a 3/4" bore. The other pulley WITHOUT a woodruff key is # 109967 and it has a 5/8" bore. 2 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Ed Kennell 38,023 #6 Posted January 28, 2019 Some additional info on the deck pulleys. The older decks had the cast iron double D holes for locking to the spindles. Then Wheel Horse changed to the keyed pulleys. And then changed to the present keyless design that uses only the lock washer and nut to attach the pulleys as shown in Dave's above post.
