meadowfield 2,570 #1 Posted January 27, 2019 A job came up where I thought I have just the tool for the job. Despite it not being finished, I welded a makeshift drawbar on my project trailer... the job in question: move this 20ft telegraph pole up through the fields so we ended up with bogie that was strapped to the pole. and towed 500ft up the field, job done! video here: 6 7

Lee1977 6,643 #5 Posted January 28, 2019 That works, when your stealing power poles you don't want to drag it, they can tell where it went.

Sarge 3,463 #7 Posted January 29, 2019 Very nice, the walker beam design is working just as it should - great articulation! Nice idea to use up spare/worn out parts versus buying trailer axle beams. Sarge
