JoeM 7,874 #26 Posted March 10, 2019 Ended up trying my hand with Magic Spray Paint and a 15$ Harboo Freight Gun. Results were pretty good once I figured the paint rate and pressure. I am going to try clear enamel and cutting n buff in the next couple weeks. I will post the results. 5 2

JoeM 7,874 #31 Posted April 16, 2019 Yeah, used the hardener in the paint. The clear I used was the Rust-oelum enamel spray can. I let it dry a couple weeks and cut it with 2000 and buffed with some 3m stuff my bother uses. The enamel clear coat in the spray can was surprising. Probably could have done a little better with a color sand before the clear but it is not a 34 T bucket show car. I found sanding blocks are almost useless, because the metal has so many dips and imperfections. If I was after the perfect finish I would have skim coated and block sanded. But it is a tractor and it came out pretty good. Actually just was testing the process for a build I want to do next winter. A couple pics of the finished product. 1
