Looks like a fairly complete Black Hood and deck.  Your WH seat even looks to be in fairly good condition.  Lots of friendly help here to get the wear areas back up to sound operation.

retired wrencher , your response to thejum57 of just living up the street , is probably the most helpful one, being a horse owner with experience on it , you can easily do a walk around and show him what's got to be done. just my opinion , pete

The C85 was my first Wheel Horse, and got me hooked on the hobby, and is still one of my favorites.    The 8hp Kohler is a good durable engine.  The original rear fender was a plastic one that is usually found broken and cracked.  Most people replace them with the metal one like yours.   Your tractor looks very complete, and should be good after some clean up, touch up, and tune up.  You'll probably want to start with a change of trans and engine fluids.   Have fun with it.

WELCOME TO RED SQUARE.

C-85

I love my C-85, and bet you will too :)

It looks like someone switched the wheels and tires, at least on the front to smaller ones like the 300 series had.  It also looks like it has a 42" deck, which may be asking a lot of its power.

Enjoy!

C-85
