gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #5 Posted July 7, 2019 Looks good. Came across some manuals and have more parts lists to add. The 20845 may be a 1962 serial number. I think I see 6 blades on the reel - correct? Click on the picture Garry
Herder 2,354 #6 Posted July 7, 2019 Thank you Gary, you are correct there are 6 blades on the reel. I have found limited info on this particular mower do to it's age. From what I can tell it does seem to be from the early 60s or could be older. I used the tires as a point of reference. Solid steel wheels seem to be common in the early 50s and had been replaced by the rubber tires by the late 50s to early 60s. At least that's what I have found. I tried to find out when GY tire stopped putting the flag on the side of the tire and found nothing. I was also trying to determine the type of flag. Stars & Bars ?
