Hopeless

The Tuul Crib

Started to look this deck over that I picked up with my 1067 and oMg!! It appears that somebody  got a little happy with their welder and welded everything on this deck together not sure if I can save it or not I think the only good thing might be the hubs!

Those might grind down ... depends on worth the time and the effort if the rest of it is not rusted through.

I guess it what you want to do with the deck. Not a ground up restoration candidate for sure. But I've seen them worse then that and run.

Buy the looks of it, I figure under those deck mounting brackets are cracks.

As far as the spindle areas, they sell an reinforcement weld in ring for those areas. E bay description "Weld in replacement patch for Wheel Horse Mower deck ...Spindle"

With just the pictures shown, I would probably take the parts off that are good and cut the losses.

I have a post in the implement section.  On rotary left behind, in second pic its the third deck in. It's for an older tractor mid to late 60s.  From what I recall it's in good restorable condition.  I don't know what it's worth as far as punches and shipping.  Or if you would be interested.

20180428_131928.jpgThe 3rd back in is the older style, sorry it's not the best photo.  Currently the decks are palletized and wrapped.  If it looks slightly similar to yours let me know.  I am in & out of the shop most of the day.  I brought home a 414/8 and it's been occupying most of my time and is starting to piss me off.  May need a break.

I finally found the thread referred to.

It was in the Picture Gallery ........and that wasn't really made clear in the post.

I was actually looking in forum categories and classifieds.

There's a second pic that might help @The Tool Crib identity the deck.

WHX??

I also have the original deck for a 1067 and would be willing to part with it to a good home. It's buried in  winter storage so no pics for now. Very savable shape tho. Last couple of '67 scores yielded some drives and quick attach brackets that I can part with as well.
