Also thanx to @WHEELHORSEFAN3 for his great generosity in his help as well for picking up some parts for me that I will later on in the build need to help me out. Will keep posted on the progress. Firebug 267 #3 Posted December 31, 2018 I’m looking foreword to following this build. Looks like it’s going to be a full resto instead of just freshening it up

Firebug 267 #17 Posted January 1, 2019 Happy new year fellas! Randy, I was just wondering what size those front tires are? They look taller and narrower than any that I have on my tractors.

They are the original tires I believe I got that same size on my 855 that I bought from Amazon for 40 bucks for the tires they look great .
The Tuul Crib 7,338 #19 Posted January 1, 2019 OK just started this morning cleaning some parts some manually with the sander others with electrolysis. Not the most fun thing to do but it has to be done .

WHX?? 49,486 #21 Posted January 2, 2019 (edited) Chiming in to follow and offer some help if needed. Here's a 1067 I did awhile back Crib... came out pretty decent for a rattle can paint job. See if I can find the thread I did on it might be some helpful pointers in it for ya. Edited January 2, 2019 by WHX21 1
The Tuul Crib 7,338 #22 Posted January 2, 2019 Yeah I really love those front tires you have on that. Not sure yet the tire situation. Going through the gruesome task of cleaning parts and the drustizing . Was really looking for a 10 horse K241 to replace the HH60 but I settled on a k321 instead It has a 5060 trans which I split the case and found a bad cluster gear. Moving along.!
WHX?? 49,486 #23 Posted January 2, 2019 Since you are not staying orginal a 321 will be fine. The fronts are the Firestones in 16/8 and the only one to have them is Miller Tire to my knowledge. Somewhat pricey but worth it for this particular tractor IMHO.

Road trippin, or fastenal shipment? I have a bunch of these 2’ high 3’ wide 42” long crates, thought about doing some “mock runs” to see if an entire tractor minus the tires and wheels could fit inside one for any future Horse Rustling.
