CTBT&D 77 #1 Posted December 23, 2018 Took a while, but finally done. Now there are two. Thanks to Terry at REDOYOURHORSE.COM, high quality decals to give it that finished look. Wasn't quite ready for the scrap yard yet. Three biggest problems were a broken connecting rod in the engine, cobbled, spliced and bypassed wiring and what looked like a busted battery sometime in the past (lots of rust), probably from freezing. Sorry, no pictures before I started. 10

cleat 6,715 #3 Posted December 23, 2018 The 520's get a bad rap for the wiring but a lot of it is due to owners making it look like your before pic. Yours should go for a long time trouble free now. Good looking machines (and no Toro !!!). I have never driven an 8 speed 520 but I bet they both drive nice. Cleat

chucksterock 15 #8 Posted December 24, 2018 Well, if you want before pics, sadly my 520-8 could supply those. Some day in line with other projects. The wiring looks great! Has anyone created a cable drawing to go with the schematic? That would make it a lot easier to do it right, or at least know what to get.
