Firebug 267 #1 Posted December 15, 2018 I recently purchase a parts gt workhorse from a guy in the next town over. He threw this in with the deal. It’s a piece of advertising for Coias implement sales in ravenna Ohio, which is still in operation. It’s a yard stick with the different brands that they sell, one of them being wheel horse. My intention is to go over and find out around what year they gave these out. I live in the same town as Coias. Ironically my free 314-8 was sold by them new in 1993 to a friend of mine. Fuel pump went out and it sat in his barn dead for 7 year before he gave it to me with the deck, plow and an extra set of blades. I’ll post pictures of that after I get it back together. The pics of the yard stick aren’t the best but it’s still pretty neat.

Firebug 267 #5 Posted December 15, 2018 No it was a grey one that was sitting behind his garage for a while. Missing the motor and pretty ratty but solid. Used the amp meter in my d 200. Plan on the metal seat pan for my c-85 loader since the plastic pan is broken and it has good rubber all the way around. Best part I got it for a mere $20. Firebug 267 #7 Posted December 15, 2018 I would have paid that for the working amp meter that I needed. The rest was all bonus parts for my other tractors
Blackhood Bill 721 #8 Posted December 15, 2018 WOW what a great parts tractor! Good luck with it. But ummm maybe a restore for the future? Just a thought. Do you know what motor should have been in it?
Firebug 267 #9 Posted December 15, 2018 I don’t, I thought those came with Briggs but the pics I saw of it looked like a Koehler. I don’t have plans to restore it, just bought for the parts
Firebug 267 #10 Posted December 15, 2018 This was it before he removed the motor. Motor was out and steering disassembled when I got it

Sparky-(Admin) 21,547 #13 Posted December 16, 2018 Looks like it was a GT1800 or 1848. Would have had a Briggs 18 twin when it was new.
