Lowell and I would like to say to each one of you thank you for the continued support and prayers.  Just knowing that you all care so much means the world to us and it means so much to Scottie  Scott is realizing now how special he is to each and everyone of you who send us their thoughts and prayers.  Please continue to pray for Scottie and our family!  Thanks again and God bless you all!

Prayers for Lowell and his special family.  Holy Spirit send your healing grace to each of them. Heal Scott and make him whole.  Wrap Bryan in you comforting arms and  vanish any guilt that he has for his brothers injuries.  Instill your Agape love for these youth in Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen

The human body is a very impressive creation of its own and it's very crazy how good support can make a recovery mend itself back together. I know I don't know you very well and only chatted a time or two. But if ya need someone to talk with let me know, I went through a similar situation with my oldest girl a little over a year ago. But most of all hang in there and your all in our prayers.

Here’s the latest update on Scottie..we started our day today at 330 in a lot of pain because the medical teams are trying to get his bowels moving.  He is unable to pass gas and unable to have a bowel movement. He has only 400 ml of liquid in him and he is complaining of being nauseated.  The medical team was talking about putting the NG tube back in to help with his discomfort in his stomach.  The NG tube will be placed back in to help drain the contents of his stomach and to allow the gas to escape. We are still waiting to hear from them on that.  Scottie did receive some Zofran for his nauseation and it seems to be working.  On the positive side surgery is still scheduled for today on his elbow.  Will keep you posted!

Glad to hear things are moving in a positive direction - that is quite an accident to survive. If your family needs ANYTHING I have some amazing resources from my end - just let us know as even small things make it easier for the family to support each other in tough times. Prayers for your family, too and truly hoping for his speedy recovery.

At least they are young - the ability to heal at their age is amazing.

This forum and its members are also your families - we really appreciate the updates.

Just a little update on our other son Bryan...Bryan who was driving the car had no physical injuries but he has the emotional injury of being the driver.  We ask for prayers for him as well and the continued prayers for Scottie and our family!

I'm sorry to hear about this but glad to hear things seem to be on the mend.  

I live in Rochester so if you need anything (hot shower, home cooked meal etc) feel free to reach out.  I'm only a few minutes (8-10 depending on lights and traffic) from the hospital.
