I remember the first time these appeared on red square and I had the volume way up on my computer. Let's just say when I broke my first bulb it nearly sent me flying out the window. Scared the crap out of me lol

I would suggest that you take a reading on how much band with you use up when busting those lights. It nearly cost me ten bucks extra to do it last year until I figured out how much I was using and why.  [I still love the lights, though}

If you are on a data plan or don't want to bust the lights you can always change the "Theme" to default at the bottom of the page.

 I don't think much data is used unless you go crazy busting them like I was doing.

I am liking the lights, it brings me back to my childhood.  My grandfather had those large X-mas lights in a pine tree outside in the yard.  After much practice with the BB gun I was able get all of them.  Pop did not approve.

Had to get up early this morning and my wife was still in bed. I did not realize that the "lights" were on. I too had the volume all the way up and the cursor hit a bulb. From back in the bedroom I hear a sleepy voice ask "what did you break?" I replied, "just a light bulb dear, go back to sleep".

We have a mobile hot spot for internet (nothing else available where I live) and we seldom exceed the data plan (unless the granddaughter is here)! The first time we had the lights I didn't know they were the same as playing an on-line game. They sure did suck up a lot of data.                    of course I just can't resist the urge from time to time,       gotta bust out of my shell!
