On my k160 on the 753 it went from having to use spray to get it to start to one or 2 pulls with choke on. I have a 1958 bolens engine on the 753. 953 nut 55,753 #11 Posted December 10, 2018 If you only replace the diaphragm you can get a little extra life out of the check valves by removing the check valve plates and inverting them presuming this is the type valves you have.
