Snowblower Washer Dimensions

Recommended Posts

Bow_Extreme

I have an old 42" Snowblower that I'm piecing back together.  I have a question.  There should be two washers on each side of the auger bearing surfaces,  These washers are depicted as #17 on the schematic snapshot attached to this posting.  I figure the ID should be .750"+ but not sure on OD or thickness.  Does anyone know what these dimensions might be?

Thanks for the help!!

920015 - 3/4" SAE flat washer replaced by 3256-28 (.8125" ID x 1.46875" OD or 13/16" ID x 1-15/32" OD)

These are the same as the washers used on the flag and tube to adjust snowthrower lift height. Each washer changes the height about 1/2".

Thickness depends on the manufacturer but usually about 1/8" thick.

The more common USS flat washers have a larger center hole and are larger on the OD.
