Xearl 131 #1 Posted November 25, 2018 I want the blower to raise up more . Do I add washers or take them off . There are two no there now .
peter lena 8,583 #2 Posted November 25, 2018 usually you add more washers. I used 1 flat washer then 2- 3 lock washers then another flat washer, that quickly gave me added height. not sure of the 2 stage mounting, but check if you can gain anything at any other point. pete
Xearl 131 #3 Posted November 25, 2018 I have two washers on there now but could use some extra height . I don't think there is any way to modify the mounting . Thanks for the input . ED

ED Ed, since I only had the single stage on the xi I can't really help you, but I'm guessing where the mule drive and drive belt on the blower is really the limiting factor on the lift height, Jeff. peter lena 8,583 #8 Posted November 26, 2018 I would really like to check one of those out, I have never seen one. I'm sure there are a number of details that would help you out. Typically my blower experience has shown , neglect, and no regular maintenance. frozen rusted joints etc. pulley tension , neglect ,lift points rusted . I am going to check out the Midwest for info, that's were they regularly use them ,and the berco blowers. good luck , pete
Xearl 131 #9 Posted December 1, 2018 I added three washers and got the extra height I needed . I tried four but the blower frame hit the pulley box .
