Jack Oldham 2 #1 Posted November 22, 2018 Hi All, Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for removing a stuck brake disc on an A 800 Ranger, the disc is seized to the shaft its is on but is still free turning while driving. I need to remove it to gain access to the brake pad behind it to change it out. So far I have tried light heat, WD - 40, soaking in diesel, gear pullers and some persuasion with a hammer. Other than that i don't know what else to do. I will upload pics soon to help better explain what I mean. I have searched online for a parts diagram of my specific gearbox and as with all part lists and things for the a 800 ranger they are very scarce and hard to come by. Thanks in advance. gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,096 #2 Posted November 22, 2018 Parts list. Click on the picture. Disc should be on a splined shaft. Light tapping on the hub and end of the shaft over time may help get the penetrating oil in. Try prying the disc out when tapping the end of the shaft but don't mar the end of the shaft. Never seize on the spline and hub will prevent that. Garry
