For what reason I do not remember now. I don't remember if they were on a standard 12 inch rim or if somebody had put Ford or Jeep rims on the tractor to get the larger size.

And put spacers on the hubs?
giddyap 1,569 #28 Posted November 19, 2018 I just found a snowmobile front end on CL and picked it up just a day ago. After skinning it, I decided not to use the complete axle just the skis. l posted this just hours ago on my tread. Thanks to Eric I found my way over here. My thought is to weld a pipe on the leaf hanger and secure the spindle with a double pin. No tracks on this baby 5

giddyap 1,569 #35 Posted November 20, 2018 Sorry, I can't post a video until the snowfall is significate in NE Ohio. Worse yet, the temp may reach 50 degrees this Saturday. I am really anxious to record my death ride so that the anticipation doesn't kill anyone. I have the tires back on and until the conditions are right she will be waiting in the shed for that fateful day. Let's hope it's soon while I still have my health care insurance. 2

giddyap 1,569 #37 Posted November 20, 2018 Razorback, I hope my lug tires are able to get me to a speed that is just a wee bit faster than what I have seen tractors with tracks travel at. I also hope for some snow roostertails at almost any speed. 1

That's a good thought, but when I looked at my 2nd ride tracks in the front yard only the lugs were imprinted in the snow. Don't tell anyone, but I forgot to open the choke.
wrmhaste 235 #50 Posted November 29, 2018 It has been done a couple years ago actually. I helped some friends turn a b-80 into an "s-80". Had vinylguy make some decals. It has skis on the front and atv tracks on the rear. We will be getting it out of storage very soon. I will get pics when we do 1 1
