will tall chute snow blower fit older model tractors?

hello i bought a tall chute snowblower 79263  -6900122 . and a junk 266-h. 72083 - 4900875  tractor . my question is { which i probably know} will it fit on a 1988 312 - 8 ? or a 1977 b 100? or how would i convert it? i have all the parts to attach it to the 266 -h. tractor.

I'm not sure the model number, but I have a tall chute on my c-161. It also fits my c-120 and c-160.

it must have been made for the 266 - h tractor because it will not fit up to my 312 - 8 or my b - 100 the lift pipe is different and pulley bracket is different than the old snowblower i had for my 312 - 8 that i sold 3 years ago.
