ebinmaine 67,695 #1 Posted November 8, 2018 As specially requested by @pullstart Here is a series of pictures with a tape measure showing the brackets for the mid mount grader. The grader blade itself is 40 inches wide and roughly 8 inches tall including the Curve. Please feel free to ask for specific measurements or further information. 2

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,055 #3 Posted November 9, 2018 Any idea what model of grader this is? Would like to put a link to the photos with the correct model. They may be all identical - I don't know. Here they are in no particular order https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/search/?&q="grader pulled"&type=downloads_file&search_and_or=or Garry

Great idea on the link there.

Lee1977 6,673 #11 Posted January 22, 2021 If your going to build a grader blade make it wider then 40". I built mine and made it 48" wide, it's great for digging in to a truck load pile of dirt or stone. The 40" don't give much blade to get into the pile. 1 1

I'd think that if the front could handle 48" then surely the mid could.

DennisThornton 4,769 #15 Posted January 22, 2021 I've got a mid-mount for my XI but that's it, except I do have a road grader blade that's getting lonely in the metal rack. Way longer than 54"!

I cut it 48" because there was two existing holes that centered the blade and only had to cut one end.

Old thread, but very useful. @ebinmaine I've been doing some math and come up with a dimension of 7.11" for the edge to edge dimension across the front of the blade. Any chance you could check that against reality on your blade when you get a chance? I am working on a design for a 48" grader blade. Thanks

Was it me I would go a little less in this case so like you measured at 7.11 or, 7 flat.

I got a chance to lay it out on CAD yesterday. That checks too. One step closer to starting fabrication.
