Any idea what model of grader this is? Would like to put a link to the photos with the correct model. They may be all identical - I don't know.

Here they are in no particular order

I'm lucky to BE a part of it. Many of us do what we can.

Thanks...

I don't know which one it is but I'll check later on and see if I can find any ID on it.

Great idea on the link there.

It appears to be the 7-1112 grader blade

If your going to build a grader blade make it wider then 40". I built mine and made it 48" wide, it's great for digging in to a truck load pile of dirt or stone. The 40" don't give much blade to get into the pile.

Good tip!  I'd think that if the front could handle 48" then surely the mid could.

I'd agree.

Especially for a weighted machine.

With a lot of weight and larger engine 54" would not be too wide. It would need to be built strong to take the extra force.

I've got a mid-mount for my XI but that's it, except I do have a road grader blade that's getting lonely in the metal rack.  Way longer than 54"!

Mine was 60" before I cut it down. I cut it 48" because there was two existing holes that centered the blade and only had to cut one end.

Old thread, but very useful.

@ebinmaine I've been doing some math and come up with a dimension of 7.11" for the edge to edge dimension across the front of the blade.  Any chance you could check that against reality on your blade when you get a chance?

I am working on a design for a 48" grader blade.

Thanks

Trina says that measures just less than 7-1/2".

Was it me I would go a little less in this case so like you measured at 7.11 or, 7 flat.

Thanks for taking the time to measure.

Good.  Prediction confirmed by reality.  I got a chance to lay it out on CAD yesterday.  That checks too.

One step closer to starting fabrication.
