I also have a partial rotator cuff issue...Dr of course wanted to operate but 8 weeks in a sling (right arm) not for me.  Two years ago I ruptured an Achilles tendon and spent 3 months in a boot no driving not going to do that again.  My shoulder and i have come to an understanding.  i limit what I make it do and it leaves me alone..

Hope you recovery goes well...and quickly.

Hope you’re back into the swing of things sooner rather than later!

I tore or partial tore mine about 3 years ago and and watched all the you tube exercise/physical therapy videos. I know more people who regret having that surgery.  it clicks sometimes but it seemed to fix it self.

Believe me I know your pain  .

Just do what your therapist tells you and you’ll be back in the saddle in no time .

stay after your therapy, and follow up, at a rehab gym that specializes with that type of work, after having knees done , regular weekly work has much improved the way I was . pete

Y'all are making me hurt all over again. Been there done that with the Achilles tendon thing , 1978 I think it was.. That leg is still weaker than the other one even after all these years. Mind the boss you will be fine.

I've put up with torn rotator right shoulder for 30 years - didn't want any part of the surgery for that...I do most things left handed now after a lot of practice..I feel your pain - do the exercises for a quick recovery and hope it isn't too painful....

Depending on, how hard your pain is, operate is maybe not the worsest idea.

My Wife has same on both shoulders and after pain and mismovement was too much, we decided to let operate.

the age, the age... Hehehe

after 3 weeks with additional physics theraphie she is now back in business without any pain.

january will be made other side

Keep Head up, and best wishes to quick health back again.

Stefan
