pegasus447 36 #1 Posted October 23, 2018 Having just become the new owner of Anglo Traction’s most immaculate C120, felt it only right to rejoin the Wheelhorse forum. Thank you Richard for doing the best restoration possible on this amazing machine. Simply stunning work every time you restore anything !!! Looking forward to using the C120, mainly for mowing and some hauling. Just too perfect to use really, but that is what they were designed and made for !!! will try hard to look after her. 9 11

Anglo Traction 761 #12 Posted October 25, 2018 Back Roly, AKA Lowflyer a previous member 'handle'. Glad you got back home ok. Your first task is to work it and get some dirt on it and take some shots of it wearing some mud . Like I said, I am more than pleased it has gone to you and it needs to kick dirt now and earn a living. Got too much going on with projects to miss it yet, and the workshop now has a load of space. I will be down for a ride. Oh , and I look up to people like your Dad for inspiration of skills, ability and ingenuity. Got to keep them grey cells active. Thanks, regards.

pegasus447 36 #16 Posted November 13, 2018 Managed to get some Wheelhorse time in today. Did some chain sawing and then used the C120 for some hauling. As you would expect from Richards wonderful rebuild, started first key turn and ticks over sweetly. Then decided to get my C141 out. At last time of trying, could not get a spark. Chased the reason back to a failed HT lead. Was one of the carbon ones. Made up a new one with a wire core and after not running for over two years, fired up pretty much straight away. A few pictures of the days events attached. Great machines. Roly. 3
pegasus447 36 #17 Posted May 2, 2019 Having fun using my C120 beautifully restored Wheelhorse. Wow what an amazing cut with the deck that Richard did such an amazing job on. Love the way that it does such a clean cut without leaving cut lines. Thanks again Richard. Wonderful machine. 2
meadowfield 2,593 #18 Posted May 3, 2019 he really did a remarkable job and great to see it still being put to use!
Sparky-(Admin) 21,398 #19 Posted May 5, 2019 Good to see your using it. I’ve found that just sitting is the worse thing we can do to these machines. The gas gets old, leaves a gel type goo in our carburetors and fuel pumps and fuel lines, batteries go dead and critters move into the engine under the tins.
peter lena 8,702 #20 Posted May 20, 2019 always preferred the rear discharge deck to s/d deck, the full width opening really makes for a smoother discharge. side tend to puff out clumps of grass , JMOO . very nice tractor , with regular care a lifetime unit. pete
