Question # 2: Where can I find a replacement carriage assembly if not? Photos attached. Thank you for any help you can provide. Otherwise, tractor is still running great! Ed Kennell 38,022 #5 Posted October 11, 2018 Yes, that could be easily welded and made stronger than original by welding a small flat reinforcement bar to the top side where the stress is greatest. peter lena 8,582 #8 Posted October 11, 2018 if you find a good welder in your area, don't hesitate to ask how would he, reinforce that area? experience in a welder is everything, they can reinforce a failure, into a non issue. daveoman1966 3,745 #21 Posted October 16, 2018 It is easy enough to straighten that bent shaft (axle). Just hold a block of wood against it and hammer it back straight. The shaft bracket is welded to the main 3/4" axle and you'd have to replace the whole match, unless you can cut and weld. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
