Some engines have a plate hard mounted to the frame with isolator bushings that the engine mounts to. Edit... scratch that... reverse it. The plate is mounted solid to the block. Pullstart 62,835 #105 Posted October 25, 2018 Oh man oh man, I think I’ve done it for myself now... the wheels and tires from the David Bradley I picked up a bit ago are screaming to get in on the project! I see a higher steering wheel and maybe some cut down (back half) floor boards. The seat and fenders would drop a bit of course... The DB wheels are a bigger bolt pattern and it has ratcheting hubs for cornering in the field, but that would mess with reverse a tiny. 3 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

With the bigger 16" rear tires (David Bradley did use 16" didn't they) you might want to go 12" in the front to get it level If you could find some old Ford or Chrysler product 16" rims the bolt pattern would be the same as the . Both 241s with a short base I have lay flat on the frame. They came off a 1055s. Pullstart 62,835 #111 Posted October 25, 2018 Working with what I’ve got and what I have spares for, both K241 oil pans I have are shallow but with a recess for the dipper. Pullstart 62,835 #112 Posted October 25, 2018 Small (huge) victories, the K241 still runs, and the hydro feels strong enough to run me over while test firing! Also, I think I’ll be able to lock the DB hub in a drive position by replacing a spring with a piece of tubing. Think you have to enlarger the steering wheel a bit, to come in upright position while seating. Don't forget - it's not a durablue Axle in rear...
