The lights and accessories circuit is the busiest, so I drew it out first.  I also tossed a ground in the circuit to the voltage regulator bolt too.

Wiring is finished!  It’s time to throw the tank back on, hook up the fuel line, install the hood and fire this off!

And because some things just need to fight tooth and nail.... we get to take the volt gauge apart!  The bulb housing is hitting the steering shaft.  :angry-banghead:

Conveniently the studs are centered so I can simply rotate the meter in the housing 180 degrees, but the lighting will be a bit compromised when the headlight circuit is on.

We will prevail!  Frank just feels like everything’s gotta be custom in one way or another!

Tink Tink!

The air filter from Richard is dripping some excess oil out over the drain pan, Lucas is in the engine, choke and throttle cables are hooked up, the transmission is burped, now just some nice weather to touch up those front wheels and we’re rolling!

No more updates until after the big show, but Frank will make it!  I took a test ride last night for a photo shoot and other than a leaky rear inner tube, we’re all set!  It’s time to finish show prep, see y’all in PA!

As soon as the yard dries out, we’ll give Norman a tug and get unloaded!

Frank’s stack didn’t enjoy the trip to PA.  After a trip to @roadapples‘ house to weld it up, it was pretty crooked.  The tin from the stock muffler just can’t support the weight of the stack swaying in the wind when it’s nearly 10’ off the ground.  So here is my fix.... so far.  A little grinding, a little forming, then it’ll be tack and inspect time.

Sometimes the key to metal work is having the right die for bending sheet metal.  In this case, the soft grass and dirt are a good start with a big mallet.  Then more detail is tapped in with a car ramp and a smaller mallet.  I’ve got a bit more forming and maybe some trimming to do yet.  I can most likely tweak it by hand from here.

Looks good Buddy,

do you welded also your reinforcement onto the Mounting lever, which was screwed to the Engine.

I cannot see it on your Pics, but i would do, to give them more Stability.

An release the force on the manifold.

Now that would make sense, huh?  I thought about wrapping all the way around when we come home from Portage... I might be able to tie it all together then!
