Pullstart 62,893 #226 Posted November 5, 2018 Much better than a trash can! The Charger 12 axle is wider, and being a larger tractor I think this is the ticket...
Pullstart 62,893 #227 Posted November 5, 2018 Building a battery box frame, the heavy plate will be the front. Once the frame is together it’ll get skinned with 1/16” plate and have a removable cover for battery access.
Pullstart 62,893 #228 Posted November 5, 2018 I’m a little bit A.D.D. here I suppose. I cut the left foot rest and it looked funny. I realized the left was 2” wider than the right overall, in relation to the dash stand. Well, a little more cut and tack action took care of that. Thanks for following along on the build, but it’s time to go in for a few hours and grab a nap before tomorrow gets here!

Pullstart 62,893 #234 Posted November 9, 2018 Tractors are wishing for some attention, but it’s clean up the shop night. And put the winter tires on momma’s ride night too. 3 1

Pullstart 62,893 #236 Posted November 15, 2018 The 1x3 bar stock is drilled and tapped, bolted on from underneath. Everything is tack welded to that. It’s also got angle iron resting on the frame tacked to the bar stock too.

Hope youre well. still waiting to see the work, you're done. No news right now, we’ve been cleaning out our back storage barn, and getting campers and summer toys put away for winter. Along with that, I’ve been working on getting my snow equipment ready for winter (I plow commercially) and getting driveways, roads and parking lots marked out. And hunting! Doing some wiring layout and I shimmed the steering fan gear and snugged up the locking collar under the dash for good steering gear mesh. Stormin 9,981 #241 Posted December 3, 2018 (edited) Oh 'Eck! Just read through this build thread and I'm begining to think it wasn't a good idea. Not your build I hasten to add. I think it's going to be the dogs whatsit's. I have a Raider 10 with a broken rod and knackered 3 speed trans'. A 14hp Kohler twin with vertical shaft. Six speed tran's off a Husqvarna which I've fitted WH hubs too. When I get the C-125 done, I think I'll have to see what I can come up with. Pullstart 62,893 #246 Posted December 4, 2018 I’d been having some electrical gremlins in the past with the C-101 that this harness (engine) came from, and I thought I had fixed it by cutting the safeties out of the circuit. That worked, or helped, until Frank’s maiden voyage test drive. I was halfway across the back 10 when it died out. I believe it quit giving the coil power when it was running. It fired up fine, but as soon as the starter position was released it would die. I decided to pull the switch apart and this is what I found. I’ll brake clean it, give it a polish on the contacts, fresh grease and try it out...
Pullstart 62,893 #247 Posted December 4, 2018 A little brake clean, a little wire brush, a little grease... looks like it’ll work fine! I used channel locks to pull the switch housing apart, and the back side of the, to peen it closed. 2
