Homemade Wheel Horse sign

I picked up a couple of movie theater poster frames the other day from the company auction. Had to buy all 9 of them just to get two. They are 30”x50” backlit with 12 LED lights. The poster section is 22”x36”. I plan on trying to talk @Vinylguy into making me a decal so it will kinda look legit. I know it’s not a factory sign but you have to do what you have do down here. Plan on painting the frame red/black or red/linen and make the center “poster”section the sign. It will get turned horizontally. I hope to make it look like @AMC RULES picture I borrowed. How about it Terry.... can we do this?

Maybe contact @neil. Think he has done some stuff with colored or stained glass which would really light up. Remember he did a mosaic with tile

I used LEDs to back-light a couple of vintage stained glass windows to add a little light and interest to some below ground hallways at our church, came out nice.

Yep I think I am going to go that route with the wax. Those posters would look great in a case. The sign ...... 👍 definitely

Apply your method of cleaning, then after you get the surface smooth...

apply a generous application of the paste wax to seal it. 

Wax on...wax off Richie son.

Supposed to be mounted on the outside of a movie theater and they have a rubber seal behind the door frame. Don’t know about 110 mph winds but inside a garage it would be no issue.

Well we don't have that kinda wind here. Of course if @stevasaurus is here for plow day,  gets into @Achto 's ranchero enchiladas and starts passing wind. Then it's every man for himself!

Great minds think alike Apples... that's what I was digging at ... I was thinking stained glass.... I know a gal.... with J&C Wheel Horse stables  on it for the  outside of the barn. Never mind Ritchie shipping would be a pain ...send me another batch of nubbies and I will be happy!
