That was one reason why I posted this! That movie was iconic being a member of generation X here in the South! I’m a huge Burt Reynolds fan! That movie and the Dukes Of Hazard fueled my young obsession with cars!!! That and Dale Earnhardt #3 Edited September 16, 2018 by Machineguy

Jim, I couldn’t agree more! To many people just run their mouths on line nowadays with no real life hands on experience. The best things in life don’t happen sitting on the couch! You’re exactly the type of people I wanted to connect with!! Edited September 16, 2018 by Machineguy

Machineguy 877 #24 Posted September 16, 2018 @JAinVA @roadapples My Dad had a Black 55 post sedan with a 265 and a three on the tree converted to the floor. It was his first car and he sold it when I was about 6 years old or so. He still wishes he had it back! His Chevelle is keeping him content for now!
JAinVA 4,619 #25 Posted September 16, 2018 (edited) Last 55 I was around was in 1969.Local kid had one and dropped a 327 fuelie in it.He rolled it on the way to school one morning and it ended up in the Masonic Lodge front yard. His dad bought him a new 69 350 Vette as a reward. He totaled that in less than a year.
