1974 D-160 engine mounting

Sorry to be such a pain but when I got this thing it had been taken apart.

Mine has the k-341 16 horse single in it and I have the parts diagram from the manual on the site, however it does not make it clear as how to couple the engine to the pump. I have all the parts but am not sure of the assembly. I have the correct part on the engine and the part that goes on the pump and the rubber piece that goes between the two. When I put it together as you would think it would go, I get a vibration that shakes the tractor. Does anyone have a picture or anything that shows exactly how it goes together.

Thanks so much.

Those rubber pucks have two different directions they can go - the bushings in them are offset. It really does only fit one way and you have to ensure the engine is mounted dead straight to that pump or it will vibrate and could tear up the pump shaft/coupling.

That is what I was thinking. Don't want to ruin anything. The manual shows the splined piece on the pump to be turned the opposite way that it is in my picture.. I don't believe the piece on the pump and on the engine line up together as they are both threaded.

The engine is mounted to a solid plate without any adjustment. I assume that the ears on the engine unit and those on the pump coupler, offset from each other as in this picture.

Check out these TSBs  What is the weld on the engine side???

On my D200 the engine bolts to the frame but you can wiggle it around a bit to improve alignment.

Thanks for these files. Got it figured out. Those weldes look as though someone had broken that one ear off at one time. They look to be well done and not so much well as to throw it off balance.

Thank you
