Light problem is most likely the switch but do check the fuses, A manual would help you out with that. Not a pic but from the IPL. The hose connection just in front of the carb. #18 You must take off the air cleaner to get at it.

Schrec050584 2 #12 Posted August 16, 2018 Also what oil is used in the hydro fill under the seat? Well i assume thats for the hydro
953 nut 56,729 #13 Posted August 16, 2018 Your hydro uses 10-W-30 motor oil and if you will be replacing the filter it is a NAPA 1410.
Schrec050584 2 #14 Posted August 16, 2018 Sweet thanks. What motor oil do you run. I see i have a couple options.
Kurt-NEPA 755 #15 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) Do your hydro a favor and use synthetic, For the engine, it calls for 30 wt., but I run 10W-30 synthetic in mine. Edited August 16, 2018 by Kurt-NEPA
Schrec050584 2 #16 Posted August 16, 2018 How much oil does engine and hydro hold?
WHX?? 49,894 #17 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) 1 hour ago, Kurt-NEPA said: 10W-30 synthetic in mine. Kurt and I run them in winter for sno blowing. Just nice to use the same oil in both. I forget how much they hold tho. Transmission is quite abit, like four quarts. Leave the filter loose when filling to burp air. Tighten when dipstick says full. run the tractor then recheck. Kurt-NEPA 755 #18 Posted August 16, 2018 1 hour ago, Schrec050584 said: How much oil does engine and hydro hold? Engine is about 1.7 quarts with a filter change, The hydro usually takes about 3.5-5 quarts. You can't drain all the oil, so its hard to say exactly. 1

Leave then set up that way all year. The other problem I have is that you cannot buy 30 wt synthetic oil. At least I can't find it. And I like to use synthetic oil for the hot summer mowing. 1
Arthur England 5 #20 Posted August 16, 2018 (edited) Not the best picture as it was taken for one of my own problems on my 520H. Looking from the front with the air cleaner base removed.the vacuum line is at the bottom of the pic. oneroadkingman 53 #22 Posted August 16, 2018 Hello,if you go to superbrightlites.Com they are great people to work with, and search for part #par 36 that's what u need for your headlights. And while your at it u might want to change out your dash lights to led part #BA9S-90-120VAC, I have done this also with mine and wow what a difference they make.
