posifour11 723 #1 Posted July 24, 2018 We finally sold the Missouri place and I need to start moving tractors and other stuff. I have a c-125 that's been my snow plow tractor. It quit just before we moved and I didn't get it going. Can I use another wheel horse to pull it 30-40 feet in low-1 and not hurt it? Or should I troubleshoot it and get her running? I'm thinking I should get it running to make sure it's not hurt. What say you?
953 nut 55,825 #2 Posted July 24, 2018 The C-215 Automatics had an Eaton Transaxle (oil filter facing the back). There is no problem towing them short distances at slow speed.

I have a runner that I'm going to take there and leave until I'm done moving everything because I have a few parts tractors that I need to drag up, too. This one only has to go from the "horse barn" to where I can get to it with the trailer. The fewer tools I have to take gives me more room for my other junk. I swear, I'm never moving again! I only had two when we moved to NC, now I have over a dozen and a shop full of wood working tools that are also bulky and heavy. My next move will be to the crematory!
stevasaurus 22,869 #5 Posted July 24, 2018 You could tie a piece of paneling under the rear wheels so it will slide most of the way.

Laugh all you want, but I've been thinking of ways to get it on the trailer. I doubt it would make it to the highway. 😜 You folks are the good kind of fun. 😂 Edited July 24, 2018 by posifour11 3
