Tractors 0 #1 Posted March 8, 2009 Hello Everyone, Jim Whitbeck here in South Central BC, Canada. Very happy to find this site by chance. I have a 1973 12hp Automatic which I really enjoy. It is totally rebuilt and operates like a new one. Others in the shed are 1962 Cub Cadet "Original" 7 hp Kohler, 1969 106 Cub Cadet 10HP Kohler, 1970 126 Cub Cadet12 HP Kohler, 1974 Jacobsen 12HP Kohler and a 1977 Ford 17HP Kohler. All have been totally rebuilt including the engines except the CC Original which I'll do next winter. The motor is done now so just the chassis to do and repaint. TT-(Moderator) 1,147 #9 Posted March 8, 2009  I'm still trying to find any car in that picture. I see what looks to be a single-place snowmobile trailer (or similar) to the left of the garage and I can see something that might be a vehicle way back in the back outside the fence, but I certainly don't see any corvette.
Rollerman 290 #10 Posted March 8, 2009 Quote I'm still trying to find any car in that picture. Okay...now that I've got my reading glasses on.....I see it's not the front left fender of a Vette...but in fact a trailer fender. Anybody up for a road trip...I'll drive. Jim again...nice to have you here & my make believe Vette in your yard.

Eriks Red horse herd 118 #16 Posted March 11, 2009  JIM nice job on the make over. The picture of the tractor in your shop or is that your house? The hard wood floors and cabinets that sure is a nice shop if it is! And it sure is clean. Not like mine I have to many project sitting all over.
Tractors 0 #17 Posted March 12, 2009 Eriks, Yes that is my shop. The floor is made of some Birch lumber I made from a load of "fire wood" I had delivered in tree lengths. Sawed and planed it. It actually is my carpentry shop but gets used for other purposes also, especially in winter. Sometimes it's a bit cluttered too. Jim Attached Image
Operator 7 #18 Posted March 13, 2009 Tractors Newbie I like your "Signature" That's what I tell people when they ask how I'm doing. But shouldn't there be another word in there? "Happy to be on the green side of the grass" Not to be picky or anything. And that is a very nice shop! Randy

Tractors 0 #20 Posted March 16, 2009 49r, The reason for the signature is I lost both top lobes of my lungs to cancer two years ago. So I'm Happy To Be This Side of The Grass. Jim Attached Image
