Like these windows have always been there...  need to run up town and get some house wrap before patching siding back together!

Got the house wrapped up with Tyvek before our much needed rain came, now Amazon Santa came!  Got a urinal on Prime Day, and dig the vanity out of storage.

Oh ....

You go march your self right into that new bathroom and get that sit down toilet right out of there. You tell her when she gives back that hat then she can have her throne back.

:D

Did some wiring in the dining room for a wet bar, while the wall was open on the back side...  cool flexible 54” long 7/8” drill bit made easier work if snaking wires!

New LED Bluetooth bath fan too.

You could have saved some materials if you had drained it into the toilet -she let you go this far, shouldn't have been a problem....

Ceiling is prepped for insulation and the second most desire of Mrs Pullstart, along with Eric @ebinmaine... some Sheetrock!  What’s first you might ask?  WE ARE ON A WHEELHORSE FORUM OF COURSE!  There’s this itch that no bath can scratch, might go “look at” another stud tomorrow morning.  :happy-jumpeveryone:

Got some more work done, shower heads positioned, both faucets installed in the vanity, more drains hooked up in the basement too.  Shower will have push buttons on the outside of the half wall to turn on one or the other or both shower heads.  They have nifty LED lights in the shower head too!

The shower, I’m hoping will be one of the real highlights of the project.  Today I got my air switches.  Think of a whirlpool pump switch, or for a kitchen garbage disposal.  With the help of some swing check valves, I plan to leave the shower valves in mine and Mrs. desired temps, and the shower head will be activated by the switches through a solenoid valve.  Yee haw no more dodging the cold burst when you turn on the shower!

Got some roughing done with the shower plumbing, hoping my oversized hammer arrestor will prevent major hammer when the solenoids close.  I’ll tear it all out in the morning, clean my joints and play with fire and lead.  Woo hoo!

True, but for shower rough ins, I like it’s rigidity compared to plastic and pex.  plus, I’ll be into the whole bathroom for about 10 sticks or less.  I’m willing to settle for the quality on a small job, and maybe in the next 10 years, the small jobs will equate to replacing all the cpvc that’s in the house now.  That stuff is brittle!

one side is done with the sweat work:handgestures-thumbupright:

When we built our house I installed a tank-less water heater with a recirculation system then routed the hot water lines from fixture to fixture and a return line from the last fixture. When we open any hot water faucet in the house we have hot water within seconds,   love it.

Sometimes, you gotta be thankful for modern technology.  Today’s time saver is the shark bite press in fitting.  Get through corners without hacking everything to pieces.

Finished new lights in the adjacent room, so I can keep moving on with Sheetrock... errr.  Start with Sheetrock.

Mrs. Pullstart needs to tie her knots in the ropes, then we’ll finish installing bulbs.
