cschannuth 3,816 #85 Posted February 19, 2022 Here’s a special one to me. My Dad’s 78 C-161 after it sat in his basement for 8 years. And then a few days later after spit and polish, a battery, tune up, fluids, painted wheels, etc. And how it looks today: 3

c-series don 8,728 #88 Posted February 19, 2022 @cschannuth I have said it before and I’ll say it again, you might have the nicest C-161 Twin 8-Speed in the country! I have Twin Automatic that I inherited but it’s definitely not as yours! I always like to see pictures of it 👍🏻 6
c-series don 8,728 #89 Posted February 19, 2022 Here’s my GT-1800 I bought new in 1984, used commercially for my mowing business I had for 8 years. I wish it had an hour meter, I know damn well it has over 2000 hours on it by now. I don’t really have too many before pictures, just plenty after I restored it. 1

Please include picks of the dash and console. I am placing decals on my 1984 Work Horse GT-1600 and I’m assuming that the general location of the decals would be the same on the two models. Thanks, Horse Newbie (Tim)

I always like to see pictures of it 👍🏻 Thanks, I think I’ve mentioned it on here before but my dad was very, very particular with his stuff. He bought a boat brand new in 1967 and when I got it from him 40 years later it still almost looked like new. My mom always joked that he took the fun out of using the boat because he never let anybody have any fun with it. He would follow people around with a damp rag and wipe off everything they touched, ha ha. Some of that rubbed off on me and now I’m driving my family crazy.
WHX?? 48,833 #92 Posted February 19, 2022 Short story on Don's Work Horse.. Big Show 2016 Don had his tractors in the 4-H building. I was so impressed by the detail on the tractor and the signage and all. Being a newbie I had no clue that was the original paint scheme and thought it to be custom. I musta took a dozen pictures but sadly most were lost in a phone camera crash in '17
