Even little Zac will be interested in talking plows and tractors with you!

Meet and greet at Richie's house.....

Maybe someday Trina and I will stop being busy for a few minutes and go a couple thousand miles south and be social.

I’m staying on topic, but maybe not THE topic....

Eric, most likely Mrs. Pullstart and I will drive separate to the big show because of her work schedule.  It’ll be about 1170 miles round trip for each of us, but still worth the fun!

As long as you don’t mind finding deals on more than you can (should) haul home, Jim tossing cold brews at you, Dan’s cobbler getting passed around, me and Emory chasing fireflies around after too much dinner, giggling a little bit when Richies jerk chicken is a bit on the spicy side, finding funny pictures of you with strange captions on Red Square, getting a bit damp with your tractor or friends, or talking strictly tractors for 4 days or so.... you’ll probably say it was worth it too!

The “2054” got some temporary shoes today. These will eventually be replaced by the same tires but  26-11x15 on 10” wide wheels. These are 26-9.0x15 on stock gt14 wheels.

Those look good on there Richie!  Nice...I’m pretty sure that I’m gonna run a set of ATV tires on the back of my CC 582 plow rig.  There are some aggressive AG style treads that offer a much wider selection of narrower and taller tires than the GT tires selection alone.

Are those the tires you picked up fairly recently?

Yes. I got four of them.... 2 fronts and 2 rears off of a UTV. Guy bought them for the rims and sold me the tires.

Looks great!  Are you going to use the air snorkel tube from the fan housing still, or trim that out too?

Nowhere now for it to go.. I may fill in the hole or just get the factory plug for it.

Pretty much every magnum and KT engine has no hole there, it's only engines spec'd with the teardrop or square air cleaner that have the hole. In fact, I have 2 seperate magnum shrouds without the hole.

Or, you could fill it in until it's round and add a flexible tube from the shroud to the air cleaner.

Side plate made for hydro control linkage. This is an old gt14 side plate that I cut and will make it the same as Skittle’s side plate since this is based off a gt14 frame. So far it fits good. Just have to get the inner portion of the 1054 frame cut out so the control linkage clears.

Nothing exciting but it does steer now. Had to extend the steering rod 3” since I relocated the front axle.

We both work on the steering today, got mine fixed. I have a project on my tail gate, but didn't get to that one. Need to do some "Blind blank Welding" on that one.

Got a chance today to play a little. Managed to get the side frame plate cut out, notched the “new” side plate for the brake pedal linkage. Got the hole measured and drilled for the motion linkage pivot rod and mocked everything up. Still need to shorten the brake rod and hook all that up.

Got a little more done on the wife’s “2054”. Since the frame is a gt14 frame, I needed to use the gt14 foot plates (already drilled for the frame) but want them to look like the correct step. So I sliced and diced a set of gt14 steps to the correct size. I will weld the tail piece that bolts to the front of the fender later, after I get the fender pan mounted solid. Starting to look like I’m actually getting somewhere.

I always figured it was a 1054 with twice the HP....... hence “2054”.  I need to get Terry to make me some decals. 👍
