Buzz 502 #1 Posted June 30, 2018 Does anyone else have their copy of "Riding Horseback" by Derrick Mayhew? 3
Wild Bill in VA 1,452 #2 Posted July 1, 2018 Yeah Buzz I still have my DVD copy and I think some place I have some VHS tape of the early shows. The kid on the back cover who won that pedal tractor was one of the happiest kids I've ever seen ! He is probably about 21 years old now ! This short movie made about the Annual Wheel Horse Show by Derrick Mayhew was shown all around the county at movie festivals. Very few of these DVDs were made. Wild Bill in VA 1,452 #5 Posted July 1, 2018 Mike, When making the dash plaques I always put a picture of the featured Wheel Horse model . But there several years this didn't work and the first dash plaque (second show) I used the RJ-58 just to use a early model that most folks would know that it was a Wheel Horse. The 2007 Wheel Horse Show for the 60 anniversary dash plaque had 2 tractors and used 4 colors ($$$$ to make). But Mike to really answer your question there is a pictures of Toms picture frame with all the dash plaques ... take a close look with a magnifying glass and see if you can read then as all of mine are tucked away . Buzz 502 #7 Posted July 1, 2018 The third show was the first one I went to so I've been to 18 of them. Loved the tee shirt this year but got me looking for my buttons and plaques. Found 15 buttons and 16 plaques. Strangely it's the later years that are missing. And the search goes on.
