roadapples 6,983 #3 Posted June 30, 2018 If you're happy with it , it's a great price. With reasonable maintenance you can leave it to your kids...

WHwest8597 85 #7 Posted June 30, 2018 Did I really need this tractor? No. However, when I first saw it on Let go I thought it was worth going to look at. I knew there was dent around headlight, but didn't know the hours. I went to look at it this morning with a buddy. I offered $1300, settled on $1400. I got extra set of wheels with ok abs and a used pto/clutch.

muz123 1,191 #9 Posted July 1, 2018 Awesome price!! Will be the last tractor you will ever buy. Thats the cadillac of garden tractors right there. Get a plow or a blower and you will be set for life.

Jrblanke 857 #11 Posted July 1, 2018 I think you did good as well! Looks like a very clean machine. The mower deck alone looks very nice. And as others have said, the garbage you get a the big box stores would still cost you more than that machine. Good purchase! James

WHwest8597 85 #13 Posted July 2, 2018 I'm storing my recent purchase at a friends. I'm hoping to build a new shed in the fall. His Craftsman is giving him problems so I told him to use the Wheelhorse. I showed him how to use the clutch and brake. He was impressed by the cut and how hit held you back mowing down hill. I think if I can find him a Hydro he will convert. All he would want is a bagger and plow.
troutbum70 857 #14 Posted July 2, 2018 I have never driven anything with a hydro, but I can see how they would hold you back on a hill. Back in 85 when I bought my 417-8 I had a choice between hydro or manual I chose the manual thinking it was more maintenance free. Your friend won't want to give it up when the time comes, you will have to look for another one hi hi.
