I have got to get my wife to start reading this forum, I'm normal she'd the one that's off. I have the kitchen floor torn down to plywood for the past 5 months. Can't decide what to put down...don't ja know. One day she want's tile, next day it's pergo then something else. Who's got time for that, I'll teach her I'll just paint it IH red and clear coat it. 2

LengerichKA88 1,883 #54 Posted April 5, 2019 I feel much better about our floor now: the floor and tiles are down.... we just haven’t done all the grout, transitions, or trim.... but the floor IS there. Has been since last January
Pullstart 62,837 #55 Posted April 3, 2020 I started playing with exhaust parts to build a stack for “Steve”. Well, Rylee thinks Screamin’ Jimmy needs one too! I grabbed these stainless hand rails at the scrap yard the last time we hauled a car in. 4

Pullstart 62,837 #61 Posted April 4, 2020 I think we have enough exhaust parts to make us a cool stack! We’re going to stick a muffler in there too. 3

Pullstart 62,837 #64 Posted April 4, 2020 The plan is to have Rylee laying a bead of weld on her project by the end of the day. Her mother’s idea I think the muffler is backwards, but I have a feeling it’s still just holes and baffles and should work fine either way. 5

Pullstart 62,837 #67 Posted April 4, 2020 Rylee decided she wants a straight up pipe, slash cut all cool and whatnot. What? No flapper like Daddy? Nope. The cool thing is that we’ll be able to utilize the 3 bolt flange on the stainless pipe to bolt the stack on and remove it as needed for transport, etc. on the exhaust outlet, I played a bit on the lathe while she did some chores and cut a shoulder in a real heavy big washer and pressed it on to the pipe. It’ll be welded on, drilled as needed and some backer nuts added. 3

Pullstart 62,837 #73 Posted April 5, 2020 Side note on my little girl’s beautiful smile above... I as a wise and honest father, I’ve taught my children to “smile like you just farted on your sister!” It really does great making their “try to smile hard” into a genuine smile
Pullstart 62,837 #74 Posted April 5, 2020 A tight fittin’ piece of tubing helped to align the elbow for drilling and bolting. It’s looking pretty good! 2 1
