@Pullstart  noting your tire chain photo , old school / bombproof ! also you are looking at the angular frame /  seat base spot to lay in a steel  fuel line ,under the fender seat 90 degree bend area ,  eliminate , a lot of fuel hose degradation , regular 5/16  steel brake line , swage lock joint fittings , for hose from tank  and carb fuel bowl , only a suggestion , don,t tell anyone I told you to experiment with this , this is also not in the book , just my take on a tear down , pete
