wallfish 17,498 #3 Posted June 9, 2018 You'll need to determine what "partially restored" is first. Many consider just painting some parts restored, when in reality it only had the original patina removed, some rust covered up and the parts were put back on. Restored should equal complete disassembly with EVERY single part gone through and replacement or repairs done to bring it back to factory specs or as close as possible to what it was when brand new. If just a few parts were painted, it actually reduces the value. For example, there's a difference between an engine which was completely rebuilt and painted or one with just the tins painted. 953 nut 57,963 #4 Posted June 9, 2018 Like John said, it was a survivor that some one used a couple spray cans of spray paint on. If it runs well and the transmission is good and the decks performs well it is probably a $ 400 machine in most areas. Probably would have been more desirable without the rattle can paint job.
