BOB ELLISON 2,981 #1 Posted June 6, 2018 I just purchased a k91t it's pretty nice looking for the age what ever that is. Will it work on a 401 or a suburban. I haven't tried to get it started yet but the PO said it ran good 4 years age. He said it came off a rototiller. Are the k91,s like the k90t,s ??? And what does the T stand for? I don't think I can use it for anything so I may bring it to the big show to sell.
WHNJ701 4,165 #2 Posted June 6, 2018 I think the t stands for rope/manual start, and s stands for starter. I buy those up any chance I can
Chris G 3,296 #3 Posted June 6, 2018 It will most definitely work on a suburban or a rj. This 400 and 401 both have k91t engines.
ACman 7,628 #4 Posted June 6, 2018 (edited) T stands for retractable start . Bob you could take it to the Big Show and I’m sure it would find a good home . is they don’t make these anymore and finding good ones is getting harder and harder . I’d keep it just for my man cave just in case you ever do come across a RJ or Suburban that you gotta have . Paint it up red buy some more memorabilia at the show make a cool display for Bob’s upholstery shop ! If you ever have to unload it there’s always a market for them . https://www.yumpu.com/no/document/view/52466431/kohler-k90-barrett-small-engine http://resources.kohler.com/power/kohler/enginesUS/pdf/ens_593_f_all.pdf Here’s you’re links to the K-series bibles Bob . Not much difference between the two . The K90 was rated at 3600RPM I believe and the K91 was rated at 4000RPM . Edited June 7, 2018 by ACman
