MAD MARK 74 #1 Posted June 4, 2018 Got a parts 416-H that came with a deck that the owner said he used, needs a few new bearings. Never had one with the odd shaped pulleys with no zerks on the top. The deck has holes so your grease gun can be inserted to the zerks below deck level. I can read 106848 on the one pulley./ Strange to me I guess. Its a 42" Any help identiying this? daveoman1966 3,745 #2 Posted June 4, 2018 This is a 42" side disch mower deck model 5-1010 (1973 ?). The side 'Double D pulleys are # 5877 or 106846. The 2-belt center Double D pulley is #6692 or 106847. To my knowledge, these are NLA from Toro. I have sold many of them over the years, but can't help you this time. If you can't find the Double D pulleys, you can always swap over to the newer style with just 5/8" or 3/4" ID round pulleys. The 3/4" uses a woodruff key and the 5/8" does not. Of course, you'd need to change out the Double D blades too, or MAYBE you can machine the blade holes to round shape. I found the same listing... 202307306065 and it is NOT for the 42" deck. The pulley listed is for the 48" deck and is NOT for your deck. It is for part # 6757 or 106849 which is a 48" deck pulley. The sellers listing is in ERROR...or , at least, misleading and will NOT work on your 42" deck.. Your outside pulleys are NOT 106848. You've misread it. daveoman1966 3,745 #8 Posted July 23, 2018 (edited) The pulley in pic (106848 and is same as # 6756) looks new...is it? It is for a 48" deck and is the Center "Double D"Pulley. The outside pulleys for a 48" deck ae # 106849 (or 6757...same pulley). These pulleys will fit old 48" Double-D decks from the late 60s to mid 70s...maybe later too.
