Sunstrand oil type

What type of oil goes in the sunstrand hydros my c160 looks like transmission oil and my c161 looks like engine oil under its seat of c161 it states use 10w 30 weight why the difference and which is better plan on changing tranny oil stay with same or is one better Thanks

You should replace the transmission fluid with the same type as it has in it presently. If it is amber colored them use 10 W 30 and if it is pink then use Dextron ATF, they are not compatible, do not mix them. The replacement filter should be a NAPA 1410

For engine oil hydro's Mobil 1 For trans oil models I think it was type A which was replaced by Dexron.

Wheel horse used both transmission oil and motor oil. I have a 74 C160 that has motor oil and I use mobile 1 10w30. In my 77 C160 it has transmission oil.

I change my trans oil with synethic aro shell. Change filter as well.
