austin joe 11 #1 Posted May 10, 2018 I have a 1995 520 H that fried the electrical it has a hydraulic 48 in dozer blade. I also have a C-160 approx. 1972 will the blade fit onto it. Any ideas for a way to lift the blade?
BOB ELLISON 2,980 #2 Posted May 10, 2018 (edited) There was no 72 c160. The c160 started in 74. I have a 74 and 77. Yes the blade will fit . the 520h blade had a extension on it but no need for it on the c160. If your c160 is a hydro it a piece of cake. If yours is a 8 speed the hand lift that lifts the mower deck is also for the blade. Edited May 10, 2018 by BOB ELLISON
austin joe 11 #3 Posted May 10, 2018 Thanks so much. It is a 73 and by eyeballing it looked like it should fit but before I started wrestling with it I was hoping some one could confirm. 70 years old (me) and crawling on the ground for naught not my idea of a good time. It is a manual 8. Made my day thanks again.
austin joe 11 #4 Posted May 11, 2018 Mission accomplished blade is actually better on the C-160 as far as up and down clearance of course hydraulic is easier but I will take it. 1
