Sometimes the rotting grass in the dump pile and clay mud under it just can't be overcome with AGs and chains  so you need a helping horse...

.Safe way to park a heavy trailer in a tight space.    Front mounted hitch for easier backing in tight space and no chance of the tractor flipping.     Only used on level paved areas.

The braking and traction of a small tractor is not capable of stopping a heavy load on a hill.

Here's my C-140, some 25 years ago, with my late father towing the kids around the lawn, in a custom, sort of, Thomas the Tank Engine. They loved it, and are all now adults with kids of their own the same age. Don't know what happened to Thomas, but the trailer on which he rides is one that I've just renovated, since it turns out to be a very useful little garden trailer, which still gets towed behind my horse.

 No piccs of the process, but I hadto tear off a roof for my sister that had very little access to the back yard. I rigged up a small flatbed trailer that took $5.00 Harbor Freight Wheels for easy changing in case a nail flattened a tire.  The trailer held a standard skid with a plywood deck.  We tarped the ground andloaded several hundred pounds of roofing on the skid and used the Bobcat with forks to dump the skid into the dumpster..... and dig it out for re-use

 

 Worked like a charm because the light weight made it easy to work with. I hate to handle material twice. No damage to the yard at all.

Towed a 1980 Ford F-150 through the yard to up in front of the garage to install a new engine aaround 1993.  Sorry, no pictures - but it was towed with a C-120 auto which is still going strong.

Similar to Jeff R. I pulled a 1972 Chevy Kingswood (the full size wagon - they only used the name Kingswood for a year or two) for about five blocks when the starter went out.  I did that with my Dad's 702.  Probably two tons with a 7 HP Kohler.  these babies have guts.

I don't remember what year it was or how old I was but the clutch went out on dad's 69 Dodge Cornet R/T with the 440 magnum, hemi box 4 speed, Dana 60 410 rear. He had me pull him up into the barn with our 73 12 AUTO. The car quit running in 78 just before I got my license, darn it right, Since I only weighed about 100 # he had to help me get it up the dirt hill by bumping the starter over. So the time line would have been between 73 and I'd say 75 ? We also use to pull electric polls around with our D200. We bent the draw bar pin on the poor old tractor, so dad had a flat draw bar that he bolted on to the 3 point hitch. When the trans went out on the tractor from the bolt going through the bottom of the trans, wheel horse replace the trans, but dad never replaced the draw bar, just used the 3 point. I just remembered that dad bought the D200 in 75 or 76 so the towing of the R/T would have been before that as I had suspected

Not as impressive as the others, but this Rose of Sharon died last year and had to go. I was hoping for more of a fight, but the horse dug in and yanked it right out.

I don't have any photos, but when my brother hydrolocked his Ford ranger while offroading, the towtruck only dropped it off in our street, so we used our 400 with my brother standing on the front axle (for weight) to tow it up our driveway to it's proper resting position.

i hope they uploaded properly. I just lucked into a log arch with flat tires for $60. I threw a couple cheapie harbor freight tires on to get it rolling. I need to get better tires for it, but I'll be dragging cedar logs out of my "back 40" to hopefully cut up on the sawmill I still haven't set up. 

 

Edited to add- Also, I think with heavier tires, I may be able to use this as a "wrecker" to get my hydro tractors out of the weeds that grew around them when I had my mental freakout and stopped all things fun.

I watched it go from 75 to 67 on Facebook, knowing that it would sell at that price. Then, the guy put up wheel weights for $40 and I had no choice but to offer $100 for both and he agreed. It was a little drive, but worth it. 

 

Ya never see these toys in my neck of the woods. I'll be using the log arch in the next couple days. The poor old four wheeled wagon won't have to do it.
