pfrederi 18,082 #1 Posted April 12, 2018 The recent thread about towing a 4000lb manlift behind a horse got me to thinking. Many of us have dragged cars, boats or trailers but what about unique things. Here is my L107 working hard. 12
Jerry77 1,218 #2 Posted April 12, 2018 Don't have a picture, but my 314-8 pulled my neighbors Simplicity out of a muddy area in his yard where he got stuck...he wasn't pleased that he couldn't get out by himself and my WH made it look so easy.. 6

12 hp Kohler 1,014 #4 Posted April 12, 2018 I pulled an old refrigerator through the lawn to take it out to the scrap pile. The c-81 had no trouble the turf tires didn’t spin at all. Don’t have any pics sorry. 5

953 nut 56,393 #6 Posted April 13, 2018 Wish I had a picture, but I don't. When I built my shop in Florida I had an old shed that was eight feet wide and sixteen feet long that a neighbor wanted and I needed out of the way. It was on a concrete slab and we backed my 5' X 8' trailer and 1055 inside, jacked the building up and ran planks across the trailer to support the building. The doors had been removed so down the road I went with the trailer and 1055 inside the building. From the side it looked like the building was being driven down the road. Only had to go a mile or so and it was early Saturday morning so we didn't create much of a traffic problem. 8

posifour11 723 #12 Posted April 13, 2018 Tomorrow or Saturday, I'm pulling a 10ft by 20 inch oak log out from where the power company left it when they did their overhead line clearing. Then, at some point this weekend, I'm going to pull a redbud stump that grew in the wrong place, in front of my septic. I'll try to get pictures of one or both.

We've moved a bunch of wood loads, quite a few small logs dragged, a rock about 3 feet across on a piece of plywood, nothing super unusual though.
JPWH 6,151 #14 Posted April 13, 2018 The trailer is not unique but the load is. Every year I cut down the banana trees around the pool and haul them to the back of my property. Usually about five loads. 10
Lane Ranger 11,057 #15 Posted April 13, 2018 Not unique but an 18 tooth harrow not to common anymore. An early Wheel Horse attachment made by the Empire Plow Company in Cleaveland, Ohio for Wheel Horse.
Retired Wrencher 5,549 #16 Posted April 13, 2018 (edited) Paul when I had my boat I used to use my 1057 to haul it out of the garage because it was a tight fit 20' boat in a 24' space. Kinda tight. That motor in the 1057 was the best running Kohler I ever had. So smooth running and start right up every time. Thanks for the post. What started me into Wheel Horse is our first boat the dealer used to use his W/Horse to move his boats around in the show room floor and out side. He could turn them on a dime with these tractors. This was around the mid 80`s. That was the start for me. Edited April 13, 2018 by Retierd Wrencher
Lane Ranger 11,057 #17 Posted April 13, 2018 Here is a "unique" haul with a Wheel Horse - my dad's steel skid plate hauler! Log chain with ring welded on the front. This thing has been used for years to haul things without wheels ! Heavy loads just use physics -leverage! Took this to Portland, Indiana Tri-State Engine Show one time! Also my Parker Lawn Sweeper being pulled by one of my 1958 RJ's ! 9

You get any nannas before you cut the trees down or do you cut the trees down to get the nannas ?
