Swisher Bucket

Landed a cheap used swisher bucket... Which I am currently making front mounts for the 953.. The hydraulic ram is strong and will lift a 54" dozer blade in a pile, and lift the front tires off the ground idling... But, not sure if it would lift that swisher bucket... Well take that back, I know it will lift that bucket empty... So I've thought two options (three really) First option, run a steel bar from ram/rocker bar underneath to the bucket, lifting the bucket and having down force. Option two, run cable and pulleys from ram to bucket, lift only. Option 3,  Buy a winch and mount it similar to an ATV setup....  I have no idea what a 44" bucket weights loaded with dirt or rock.. And if it's super heavy, than a winch would probably be the best option. But also puts stress on the battery. What do you guys think?

Other things read about this bucket... According to northerntools...  The Swisher dump bucket has a 250 pound capacity.

So the shipping weight of bucket is 100 pounds..

Meaning hydraulics would need to roughly lift 350 pounds.

IMHO, I would just use a lift rod like that is used for a single stage snow blower as the lift pretty high, unfortunately that doesn't allow for down pressure (I almost did the same thing years ago for my 520H), or if you want down pressure why not electric actuators(lower power draw vs a winch) , and we want pictures as you get this thing figured out, Jeff.

May do that idea Jeff... Also thought of changing the 953 hoses to quick connectors. For the bucket, have it's own ram... Switch the hoses around when in use.

Why not "T" off the existing lines then add another spool valve with the quick connects to a separate DA cylinder .
